Warm up games?? So the aim of these games was just to get ready for the middle 8. No, the aim of these games is to finish as high as you can to get the best set of fixtures for promotion to SL. Oh yes and ultimately to actually earn the right to the middle eights. We do not have a God given right to now be fighting for pronotion |

Does anyone think there has been any advantage to finishing top in the championship for the qualifiers, it's one hell of a hit to your confidence playing 3 SL teams on the bounce isn't it , i know we are the championship League Leaders and i would hope that brings financial rewardsbut i'm struggling to see any sort of reward for starting the super eight qualifiers as the top champ club as opposed to the 2nd placed champ club.

It was better finishing top rather than second but we didn't make the home advantage count against the SL teams, just once would have done.

On T.V. again v.Bradford. If every thing goes to plan i.e. we beat Halifax (difficult) and Bradford (possible), and Bradford lose at Hull KR (probable),it could all be down to points difference on the last week's matches. Then it will be between our match at Widnes or Bradford v. Halifax to be televised on the Saturday. Does anyone know if the match not to be televised has to be played on the Saturday at the same time, otherwise they will have an unfair advantage knowing what they have to do?

To my knowledge, there hasn't been a co-ordinated 'final day' for a good number of years, largely down to TV slots. |

| Hello my fellow Leythers, this is my first post on here, been reading it for a while and it seemed the right time for the king to appear  i have followed the mighty Leythers since Paul Topping went under the sticks for us against Sheffield in 92. Anyways, in my royal opinion, things will go our way and we will make the 1 million pound game if we put the mighty Fax to the sword and keep our discipline no matter what, hopefully by 30 points or more, hopefully catch the Bulls low.on confidence if they lose this weekend and then fight to the death with the Chemics in the last game. If we keep our discipline it is still in our hands. The King knows and I know Charlie does!!!!! |
