Very Sad if true, a very nice man well respected by all who know him especially at Leigh Cricket club.

What relevance is Brown to this?



Would you pick Brown over Kay and Higson?

It is true. Dan Carty has left the club at the end of his probationary period by ' Mutual Consent'.



Welcome to the world of business. I spent a long time in it.

As you rightly say Harold business can throw up these kind of things from time to time, however the minimum probationary period you would expect at Director level would be a minimum of three months surely?



Having only announced a new board structure which Dan was part of only three weeks or so ago I find this one very odd but don't know anything about it and haven't spoken to Dan himself or anyone at the club so wont speculate any further.



All I would say is in a commercially very critical week and on the eve of the clubs sponsers evening and such a crucial event it would seem a strange time to end the commercial directors probationary period if this indeed is what has happened as you seem to believe.

The relevance is that Brown also came in with a big build up and very quietly let go very quickly, but even he was given more time to settle in than Dan.

As for picking Brown over Kay and Higson then no I wouldn't but he was deemed good enough to bring onboard as was Dan Carty.
