There is a lot of misunderstanding in this thread, please try to read the posts properly and understand what they are saying, a few people have reacted when there was nothing to react to.

So are you actually in any of the groups trying to help the club because it seems that you have a wealth of knowledge on how a club SHOULD be run. Maybe you should become an adviser to the board.

just what i was thinking , more Leythers should be asking themselves ,"What can i do for Leigh Centurions " ,not "What can Leigh Centurions do for me ",unfortunately we are not like the Wigans , Saints , or Leeds , or great club needs the fans help in many ways to Survive , and if more Fans contributed a bit more then maybe we will be OK .



Without the help of my daughter Danielle and Lynda and James Pyke , i could no way run the Poker nights , Lynda puts so much time and effort into the Centurions its unbelievable , as does Derek and Dawn Halliwell ,Fred Parky , and many others tomany to mention , but these Fans must be supported and shown their efforts are not going to waste , there are many ways for Fans to help , but most important is Financial Support ,bickering and backbiting is not the answer ,a United Leigh Centurions will progress so much .



Well thats my rant over , i need a few glasses of Acorn Juice , wheres Frank B when you need him ?

BTW Fred, I was not saying there should be no free entry, obviously for the work you do there is no problem with that (assuming you get free entry!), you put plenty of time, effort and money into the club, I was more refering to the thread last week about the ex-players thing giving free tickets to mates etc.

Charlie, I agree with what you say but what's it responding to? A United LRLFC is what we all want, burying our heads in the sand won't achieve that.

The bar stool brigade are found in most pubs. They used to watch Leigh home and away (Yeah) but stopped going years ago because ............................ (insert any directors name) was taking money from the club and they wont be going again until suchabody has gone or LRL are in SL (at which point excuse 1 comes back in play).

They slag the club off to anyone who will listen but will have never set foot in LSV.



These are the people we must shut up and transparency as part of a stakeholder club is the way to do it.
