From what I have read elsewhere both clubs had originally agreed between them to providing 4 coaches each. So thats 400 of the 1800 with free transport

We never announced an exact limit so maybe SO'C has allocated more anyway either alone or wth Leigh. Likely get discount with coach company too!

Just saying if demand was very high SO'C may have opted to secure some more coaches either by himself or with Leigh too. He did it to Fax so why not? It's great that Leigh put on 4, fantastic! But doesn't mean 100% we'll only do 4!

I think he's clever enough to know the sort of reaction there would be if he said that the coaches were full and he wasn't prepared to foot the bill for any himself. Trouble is, he's doing everything right so far which means it will be a bigger fall when he gets summat wrong.

What's the buzz like in lobby land? Reckon you'll get a big turnout? Not sure if last week would have a positive or negative effect with ST holders having to pay but is a big game afterall!

Plenty of talk about it and everyone I've spoken to are looking forward to the game hugely. Whether that will translate to bodies through the turnstile, I don't know, but it'd be great to see 3,000 home fans (only a few hundred more than in the league, let's be honest) which should see a crowd touching 5,000 which would be fantastic.

Missing this one due to work commitments unfortunately. Imagine (hoping) the game will be a lot closer this time. Second half performance was woeful from us last time but exceptional from you lot nevertheless.



Free coach idea for Widnes fans does seem to be a very good idea aslong as this translates to bodies through the turnstyles for both clubs, should be a really good spectacle on sky and hopefully a fantastic advert for Championship Rugby.

i'll be a little more realistic and say 4200, although 5000 would be a great attendence! after the comments from our last sky game on the lack of fans we have i would be intrested to see what they say this time

There were 3,000 there last week for the league game. The 7.30 week day factor comes into play on a Thursday, people can't make the game due to work committments. So where are the additional 1200 people going to come from from last week? Plus the 3-400 who won't make it due to work?

Actual att last time was 3198 and included 6-700 Widnes Fans.



Most of our season ticket holders are diehards and I think most Leythers who went last week will want to be there again and I expect even more to go irrespective of it being on TV.



Now if Widnes have indeed sold 1800 tickets the evidence would imply a bigger crowd than for the last game.
