I am not sure but I think Ryan is under contract for the coming season so it obviously puts him in a strong negotiating position.



Like every other Leyther I hope he stays for a long time as we want him in our side for the Challenge Cup Final in 2021.

But LISA isn't a special club Fred? It was never meant to be a special club. I don't think anyone who joined expected anything from it apart from players on the field in a winning team. The Touchdown is completely different. Now if LISA are now selling this as pro to joining like the coaches that's different but I personally think that these "Fans Forums" should be open to all fans or call them something else. We just can't alienate a single one of them.

I agree Tony, it does seem an attempt to move LISA into a kind of ' membership ' than an independant supporters assoc, other clubs, Bradford being 1 that already work that way



I understand the reasoning, but disagree with it

It is good of our club to offer deals to LISA members and if it increases membership good.





We can't attract crowds of Wigan Wire and Saints so if you are a fan and can afford it join and help to bridge that gap.



Bear in mind every penny you contribute goes to the club so it's not about wether you like or dislike this person or that who is on the committee it's about getting a better Leigh side' not just for today but for the long term.

or you could invest your money elsewhere in the club i.e. touchdown,lottery etc,it doesnt make you any less of a fan,nor should it prevent any supporter being allowed to attend fans forums.

Agreed' but although I contribute to the touchdown club and the lottery not all of that goes to the club to sign players.



Just to reiterate every penny a person contributes to LISA does go to the club to sign players.

so why should forums be exclusive to lisa members if you contribute to other forms of investment in the club?Frank you know my reasons for not joining lisa and they will remain private.

It's everyone's choice whether to join or not and always will be .

I personally would love everyone to join as I feel very passionately about it , But because I'm a lisa member I don't expect everyone else to be .

All I know is this .....

I love Derek to bits but if something happened and he was no longer there we would be left in a situation like when Arthur had to pull out and I just don't want us to end up that way

If all our fans all joined lisa then that would mean we would be safe always as we would be able to cover all the players wages etc

Why should Derek and anyone else have to keep tipping money in let's try and make it so he doesn't have to And he can just steer us in the right direction with his fellow directors

Absolutely nonsensical.

This is really a poor policy and is a pity that it has been done against a background of positive news. I have supported Leigh for over 50 years and one of the great strengths of the club has been the inclusiveness of all kinds of fans.



People will pass their cash over to support Leigh in a combination of a number of different manners, entrance fee, season ticket, Lisa, Leigh TV, merchandise, lottery, half time draw, corporate, programme, sponsorship, voluntary time.



The combination of how fans spend their cash to support Leigh will be a mixture of financial circumstance and choice. To deem only one section of supporter fit to attend fans forums is a divisive policy.

They aren't fans forums they are LISA meetings there is a difference

so what was it? and who is it bothering?

Lisa meeting should it be members only no payment /gift offering in

Lisa relaunch who to existing members to increase payments or to get new members from the masses/businesses

Is the suggestion that the club trying to take Lisa over and they become "members" of what

A great last season and exciting prospects on the field for next year but as has always happened at our club the off field, who knows
