We got kicked out of the game in the first half two well constructed tries from kicks which was due to us dropping a lot of ball and giveing away good field position. Thackaray is lethal if he gets a lot of time on the ball, we also fell off tackles. Widnes then got involved in a daft scrap just before half time with a lot of verbals, that and Millwards bo***king clearly got us fired up. The first Widnes kick of the second half Hill and Govin (MOM for me) charged the kicker and it landed in Donlans hands. After we had sorted that we got on the front foot and our pack started to get on top and our backs got on a massive roll, not many teams could have lived with that today.



The Widnes turnout was poor again and Myler is a complete tool. Vark and your winger with the daft boots both got injured and we still scored more tries over Myler.

Cheers, to be fair the Chemics have been very dignified and complimentary in defeat.

I wouldnt know, I was gone and in Westhoughton when the FT hooter sounded. Never been so deflated after watching a game in Rugby for as long as i can remember, and that considering i was expecting a defeat.

Brilliant performance from Leigh today in the 2nd half. Attendance wasn't to good though, only 3,198. I thought there would at least be 3,700-4,000. I was very dissapointed from the Leigh turnout, some on here saying they thought our turnout was poor, bet you won't bring as many to the Stobart.

But once again, great performance, and I can see you only losing a few this season if any.



Oh and to the few that was waving towards our fans at the end, I think we should of been the ones waving as we'll probably (hopefully) in different divisions next year.

Oh come on jonny it was a good turn out by Widnes, 600 to 800 we all thought, we will not see that many from a team this season, well done Widnes fans.

How many does your stadium hold? Because to me it looks very, very small.
