Couldn't go today with it being a Sunday game. We had a family do on, as a lot of families tend to organise them on a Sunday. Stopped of for a pint in leigh and noticed the pubs were packed with people watching the football. I take it with the weather being so kind, a Sunday match (much cherished by the "I don't like change brigade"icon_wink.gif, ticket offers we had on and the fact it was a big play off game we had an above average crowd on today?

For next season could you email the club to the days that you are available to attend games, also if possible contact the Premier League to arrange games suitably. Barring that we'll continue to attend and I personally couldn't give a damn about the wendyball followers watching a game in a pub. The majority of whom would only attend a Leyth game in a major match.

Barty todays attendance was a bit of a disappointment , I expected more , I to am not bothered about Soccer and the TV games , whatever day is Matchday , I will always try to attend , though I prefer Sunday afternoons , the Donny following was shocking , there couldn't have been more than 20 from Donny , but we do need more through the Turnstiles next season , when along with ourselves London and Bradford will be up for the top 4 ,Cmon Leythers your team needs you .

I agree charlie that the attendance was lower than expected but my reply was to the previous post.The club aren't responsible if everyman and his dog have organised do's on a Sunday or that some wendyball game is on Sky.

Ok. We should stick with game day that is becoming increasingly difficult for RL clubs to market. I notice that there was only 1 super league play off game today. Maybe super league clubs should switch back to Sunday kick offs to please their traditionalist over Fifties fan base who don't like change!

I know what you were saying Barty , and I agree the Club cant cater to please everybody ,I expected more fans to turn up today the figure of 1,800 has been given as the break even figure , some Leythers only turn out for so-called big games , so hopefully they will feel the game in 2 weeks time id a BIG game .
