| A sell out was never likely and technically not possible anyway due to unreserved seating.
However, as mentioned above, the LSV record is well within reach which would in turn beat our last biggest second tier crowd which was the 6,399 vs Widnes in the play offs in 2001. Even that it was boosted by 2,000+ away fans which probably won't be the case on Sunday, as was the 5,500ish we had for the play off game vs Oldham in 2000.
Prior to that.....??

| Quote Bull Mania="Bull Mania"We've sold over a 1000 now. I don't think it will be a sell out, but anything over 6000 is a massive result for a championship fixture. Still yet to get mine
'"
It will be a change to see some away supporters in numbers instead of the usual 30 apart from Fev n Fax not many traveling fans come to the Championship games ..You Bulls fans are in for a massive shock when you play yer home games..One things for sure Leigh Centurions fans won't let ya down we travel in big numbers no matter who we play..

| Does anyone know the modern era second tier attendance record for a non play off match? Would have thought Cas or Widnes hold it?

| Found out that Cas v Fax got 6284 in 2007 but maybe Cas v Widnes or the reverse fixture in 2007 may have drawn more
As an aside, that season Cas went to Rochdale and beat them 106 - 0

| Didn't Fax get a massive crowd for a final league game against Batley, when they needed that big crowd to boost their average attendance to meet SL criteria? (about 20,000...........ish! )

| I was there that day and they quoted about 4500 to bring their average up to the requisite so they could apply for a Superleague licence.
Think record Championship crowd was Widnes v Leigh about 2003. Leigh won.

| Widnes v Salford in 2008 got 8,000ish I think.
To have sold over 6,000 tickets at this stage is absolutely unreal. Glad to see such a big Bradford support as well.

Didn't we play Owdum and the Mutants in consecutive games that year?

| I remember the 6k + game and the 6k Oldham game like Yesterday !!
The biggest crowd prior to that was the Challenge Cup plate Semi Final when it approached nearly 7k (4k of which was from Hull KR). We got spanked because we had a CARP team !! lol Was it 1998 ??
Its going to be a great day. Irrespecative of tickets sold, people (Like me), will stroll up and queue for mine. Anything above 7k would be fantastic. To beat the up to date record (Widnes v salford ?) of 8200 would be unbelievable.
