No matter who Halifax put on the park they will still be handicapped by their coach, as a lot of their own fans say.

A better way to judge maybe taking each player and asking would they get in the Leigh team. I think even the most staunch Leigh fan would admit that the forwards we use on match days, usually about 7 or 8, would all get in the Leigh team. On the other hand I think theres at least a couple of Leigh players named that wouldnt get in the fax team, players like Ostick, Duffy, and Aspinwall I think would struggle.

Halifax may play as a team of individuals we play as a team, it is our coaches ethos.

IMO I think we are & will be stronger than last season. Now some of the Fax fans finally realise that Riddy aint going any where how are you feeling with your new halve backs you currently have GFB?

Out of the whole entire fax team there are only a couple i would have at leigh and they are in the backline. Fieldhouse and Worrincy. I'd take Spencer over Davies, i'd take anybody from the under 16's at east or miners over Bracek, massively over rated. The front row at fax isn't that great or am i missing something? Ashall looks a good player to be fair, but don't know where we'd put him? Duffy is the only player who is a bit ropey in the pack, big season for that lad, gotta shift some weight and get more minutes.

On the whole I mostly agree with everything you state Rennie , though im to sure about your views on Bracek ,I think he is OK , and would be OK in most packs , although we have more than enough forwards now , im looking forward to signing a couple of Backs , and would love to see the Worrier , Worrincy in a Leigh shirt .
