Need someone with some speed similar to Brierley's. Every time we make a break we get caught before we can get to the line. We also need to speed up our play round the rucks. Everyone seems faster than us.

Again, if you are referring directly to RB, a lot of bridges to rebuild. The best advice in any profession is never to leave on bad terms.



Bongser has not seen much of a certain Canadian side yet, but he is led to believe that they have a useful bloke by the name of Worthington there. Doesn't match the aforementioned for speed off the mark, but defo not sluggish and, given our plight in a certain position.....

Good evening Bongser, the message board mood a little melancholy tonight after today's first half performance , though we did win the second half,a half term report of Must do Better is called for,I'd be tempted to give Hampshire and Drinky a go in the halves.Only my opinion.

There are two problems with the cap for a club like alright firstly to sign players of the calibre of Hansen, Stewert etc you have to pay over the odds, they don't leave clubs like Catalan and Wigan (via. Salford) for the glory so to entice them to your club, we had it for years at Hull and now finally we can offer something more than money, it will take a few years to get to that level.



The 2nd reason is youth, yesterday we had 6 players missing, this meant our bench have 3 young kids playing (all on low salary) whilst you had 7 or so out but still had an experienced bench, you have too many experienced squad players, if you a youth/reserve team you can replace some of your squad players like Green with younger cheaper players allowing you to sign better quality players for your 17, again this will take years and patience.

And there is a very good reason for that

Someone with Ryan's pace and ability to back up, would be a godsend to our team. (remember the unfinished long breaks by Crooks and Hood, yesterday?) The problem with Ryan though, is exactly the same as with our current Ryan (Hampshire) - just what position do you play him in?

If Brierley hadn't decided he was too good for Leigh and jumped ship, he would now be an integral part of the team, he left and is suffering the consequences of his error. He is history.
