Maden is a solid player in this division. Doesnt like getting niggled and sometimes conceded silly penalties but gains yards every time and never shirks responsibility in doing so.

I'd put Aspinwall in the centres when he's fit, no problem with Maden at all.

I'm sure one of the stats people will confirm beswick or littler will have the most penalties against them, a lot more then Steve!!!!!

Agree with you on that Lynda.

I reckon Littler may just edge it on the penalty count this season although I don't think he gave one away on Sunday at least.

There is no doubting Madens work rate , the lad puts in 100% effort every game ,and good on him , we have to put out our strongest line-up on Thursday , and he is in that line-up , I just think we should be looking elsewhere for next season , wingers are there to RUN , and runners need speed , just look at Offiah , even the Worrier from Fax has speed to burn , in my opinion we have to many similar players in our team ,strong runners no doubt , but lacking in speed ,how many of our team could go the full length of the pitch for a try ?

He's never likely to score a full lengther, but I tell you what there can't be many players this like with his sort of strike rate within 10m of the line.

That's true Matt & besides Kes, Pownhall & Higson their the only ones with real pace although Garder isn't a slouch when he turns it on like he has done for try saving tackles. TBF Mado's best suited when Kes is playing & our team in general are as when they make a break Ryan's always there to support them. For me Higson should be tried outside of Mado on the wing & Littler dropped to the bench & to play in't back row. Adam's appeared to put some size on & IMO he could possibly do a better job in't back row now with his added size if it's needed. We'll certainly have some good options in the next month finally

Matt the finest finisher 10m from the line I have ever seen was Billy Boston , at that time he was well past his best and playing for Blackpool ,its the other 90 m that concern me , Batley wont be a threat for speed , if we keep Ben B quiet , but its later on in the season when we will need speed that worries me .



Hopefully Ryan will be back by then .

I bet Merelene Ottey could still RUN a bit Charlie , but I would not be looking to put her on the wing
