Completely agree with what you say Fred, to be quite honest. Only reason I can see him moving to Swinton is if he's guaranteed a starting spot, but I can't even see that being too likely.

We'll be lucky if Hartley stays fit... need to keep Ridyard. Saw enough in those last 4 or 5 games to convince me he's going to be a talent now.

There is no doubt he has talent and his performances late in the season were promising but at the level we hope to play at his tackling could be better.

I'll say it again, you need to keep Martin Ridyard Mr Millward. He is

an excellent player who should have figuered more in the team last season. His open field kicking and deceptive running really impressed me.

He must stay!

Hartley will be wearing the number 6 shirt it was part of his agreement to sign. If we go back up do we not need more quality to add to what we have signed already no disrespect but we did get shown up last season with a lack of strength in depth.

Agreement or not if he aint producing the goods Millward wont accept it.



As for signing more 'quality' there should be more than enough for Ch 1 and unless we do not get relegated we cant afford any more under the salary cap (unless we get a dispensation from the RFL) even then unless the right players are available we may as well keep our powder dry until later on in the season when SL starts to throw away players.
