I count I think 19 seats wide x 20 rows per section,Yes we were spread out but easily filled 3 sections if we were all together..Thats 380 per section which = 1140.



That sort of kills your 4 buses scenario..

However many it was you can bet your life it will be a bloody sight more than Featherstone will bring to Leigh

At least 1000 Leigh fans there loads of cars went down i was go smacked at the Fev fans or lack of them if I was in charge at Fev I would be worried about the downturn that seems to be happening

If Batley are one hell of a team, by your assumption Bradford must have played out of their skins to beat them in the last 5 minutes', only 5 games in and you seem to be getting nervy all ready.

We decided to remain in the seated DIY stand behind the sticks for the second half - to avoid being stood in the biting wind. (Wimps - I know!). We were of course joined by the Fev fans in the second half who had changed ends.



Although Fev were soundly beaten by a far better team on the day, their team did deserve some credit for not throwing in the towel. They just couldn't live with our boys faultless second half performance. They certainly didn't deserve their fans deserting them well before the end.



'The Walk' started around 68 minutes and by the time the final whistle went we were virtually sat on our own. If their season doesn't improve dramatically I don't expect them to travel too well to the LSV. The Fev club must be hugely disappointed in this response from their fans who have seen some very good times in recent years and who deserve better in terms of loyalty during their more recent financial challenges.

Charlie and friends were guests of Fev Chairman Mark Campbell,and we're looked after very well, Mark is a great bloke who lives and breathes Fev,I for one sincerely hope Fev fortunes change as the season progresses and I think it will when their 2 imports arrive,they will be up there at the e d of the season,they missed hooker Andy Ellis when he went off early in the game.But obviously I think Leigh will beat em at the LSV and of course in the Promised Land.Keep up the good work Mark hope to see you again soon.

Was initially a bit disappointed in the first half performance in that we didn't seem to do much but of course as it showed in the second half that winning matches isn't just about tries and our 1st rate coach clearly knows a thing about how to win games.

In that first 40minutes what Leigh had really done was tire Fev out with Rovers doing a lot of tackling that would ensure the fuel tank ran on fumes later in the game.

2nd half the only way I could describe it was classy, Brierley looks the best scrum half I've seen in a Leigh shirt for many years and the speed he moves along the line is frightening.

Moimoi is now warming up ably assisted by Barlow et al (is any forward better at moving the ball around than Barlow?) and at the back McNally is rolling back the years to the potential he showed which is now being realised.

With strength in depth (Platt played really well) and no weak link these are happy times to be a Leyther.

On the way across much talk was had of the 40 point lead we once built up at Fev as being the best performance we'd put in on that ground, On Sunday we racked up was it 36 unanswered points against a team that looked shell shocked.



On the performances of late Leigh have been absolute top drawer.

If the new stand behind the posts holds 1600 that was branded around by Fev fans before the game then there were most def at least 1000 in there in the 1st half. That of course depends on the 1600 capacity figure being correct.

5 games in 5 out of 5 wins, 2nd half 30 unanswered points, if thats 'nervy' I will take 'nervy' every game this season

Just to add to the 5 from 5 its also important to remember the quality of clubs we have played to get those 5 wins as for me its the toughest start to a league season I can remember.

To be honest I'm very impressed with the coaching,the strategy and calls at the right time are bang on the button.
