So most do not like Friday nights including myself, whilst others do not like Sunday's



So...is there anyone against Saturday 6:30pm KO's during the warm summer months?



Barrow switched to this slot as their prefered slot a few seasons ago. They are yet to switch back. May be there is some evidence of success in that?

It would be my preference, after Sunday afternoon.

I remember when we played Toulouse at that day and time we got a good attendance, so deffo worth a go and it gives the players a Sunday off with their families too.

I'd go with Sunday afterton for the first month and then as weather improves try a couple of evening games. At 6.30 kids can still come and it not be too late for them. We could make some prematch entertain ment and try get them into the ground early, give um all a flag to wave, get some one in with them and try get them all singing songs

I can just see that now, A large group of kids with flags, singing, " you dirty Yorkshire Ba......." or Mick Nanyn, " you used to be e but now your alright ". Whilst other sing back at you, " You used to be leigh, but now your a flea sucking blood off wigans super league "

Young Leigh children don't know swear words until they go to the pub when they are about 12 years old.



Having said that I am fascinated to know what songs they will sing at any Saturday evening games.



From memory I used to love waving a flag and singing'mind you that was at a street party when Queen Elizabeth ascended the throne.
