You can't really not read anything into it..The fans are disgruntled the management isn't helping and all is being projected to the players. I empathise with Wakeys situation but i'm afraid Wakey wont be the team that cracks our current run.

Said it once upthread and I'll say it again here - this is Wakey's cup final.



It will be a disaster for them if we win and on the BBC too!



This will be one tough, very tough game for us and I'm afraid I will not be surprised to see the end of our winning run (would love to be wrong!)

Leigh by 20 they are struggling now with attendances and finances.

Looking at their recent results Wakefield look in real trouble, they'll definitely up their game against us as if they loose it's looking very desperate for them. They're still an established Super League team, playing at home, who'll throw everything at it though so we can't even think of showing them any disrespect. Still think we'll win though & if we go ahead could really hit their confidence.

We'll either see a Wakefield putting their league form to one side and really giving us problems - or one that will totally collapse again.



It's up to Leigh to get at that shakey Wakey confidence and then capitalise.

If we play to our potential I think we can get a result but the week to week intensity Wakefield get by being in SL is a big help and even though they are losing that regular exposure to intensity will help them.

Should be a cracker, 3 really good exciting games on the bounce for Leigh coming up

Batley aside, we've not done too bad for intense matches recently.

Picked up our tickets for the Halifax game yesterday, West Stand (normally in the North Stand) but 3 yr old coming with us.



Anyway, I asked the ticket office guy about sales for the Wakey match, 1200 sold so far with a week to go.



This indicates to me that 1500 + Leigh fans could be travelling, which is more than Salford brought to the LSV for the last round.

I would think you would be able to get some of our tickets. After the last few weeks results I can't see mant wildcats fans bothering to turn out!

Don't you think that the Wakefield fans think this is one for a home win then Stevie ?



I would have thought a few would attend just to see what all the fuss is about.
