Don't think you can compare a top of the table clash when we got presented a trophy at the end of it to a normal league game. It's not a matter of not liking change it's a matter of not liking having to sneak out of work early, rush home, wolf down some food and leg it to the ground. The attendance was very good last night though, the people of Leigh definitely made a special effort, lets hope they carry on doing so in the future.

The simple solution is to rotate the kick off times between Sunday and other days of the week. This will allow a range of people to attend who cannot make one date or the other. The more fans we get the more merchandise we sell, the more LISA memberships we sign up, the more LCTV we get signed up - that would more than offset any potential difference in crowd, which is debatable anyway. My mum cannot make it on a Sunday so she was there last night...it's swings and roundabouts..

Wasn't arguing, just pointing out the same could be said for any day we play. My problem is evening kick offs on any day Monday to Friday

That's not good for folks who buy a ST knowing that the majority of games would be on a Sunday, not bad for the opportunist fan though.

The more success we have the more the games will get switched to night games for TV audiences. Especially as we go up the leagues. Most SL teams don't have a problem selling season tickets with mixed game days. Embrace change.

Well the Friday night

We lost some regulars who couldnt make it but gained some that came for the night out .

It will only work with "big" games, if we tried it with say Swinton at home it wouldnt work .

However if we are on Sky on the future we could be asked to play Mondays, Thursday as well as the Friday, Saturday or Sunday !
