Now [i'THIS'[/i is the one that really needs to be banned !
To sing that [i'Evil B@$T@RD$[/i name (even in mockery) is just not on. It is a name that should never be spoken out loud, save for education/debate IMO.
As for the I.R.A song, it has been sung since the 80's AFAICR & at least it has some humour & a touch of patriotic angst/spite about it.

What happened to "woke up this morning feelin' fine, got Leigh Rugby on my mind" ?
Really like that one, a real feel good chant/song, suppose the feel good factor left with the 9 straight losses.

I don't mind the Flute Song and I think it has a great catchy tune, it's just a shame that the North Stand has never bothered to change the lyrics over the years because they sound stupid.
The Saville chant though really does make us sound backward. |
