Maybe they had the wrong attitude and therefore it affected their performance, if they didn't put the effort in they would have got no reward. We've seen that enough times from our own team to know.
feel for the players that did a full pre season then didn't get to play first game because of the super league players. Reserve teams would benefit super league and its development so much not sure how feasible it is though.
