Childs just gave and gave. He was determined to give until they scored.



He was poor. He gave them back to one twice on balls we never played at but did he reciprocate? No. He allowed Wigan far too much time at the PTB too. I know I'm biased but I'm not ridiculous biased. For him to ping us for laying on (Eorl) after the set we'd tolerated with them was sheer hypocrisy.

thats what made it better for me, the fact that he did EVERYTHING he could do get them over the line and still failed.........and according to some wigan fans after he kept us in the game and gave us everything !!!! LOL

Child at best today was a joke, he giants defence was as good as id ever seen it, in the last 6 minutes the giants had the ball for 30 seconds wigan had 7 repeat sets and we stood tall!

According to Fielden we had 2 PTBs in 11sets. That's some pressure.



The press and the opposition fans have also publicly recognised how well we defended.

Was hoping the biff , bah and handbags at the end was giving awesome defence a breather as well as running down the clock.

You don't keep out a big ruthless bunch of buggers like Wigan as we did with the number of sets and tackles we had to unless you've defended like demons.

Child showed everything that's wrong with RL today, he could not have tried harder to gift Wigan a try. Penalty count was horrendous against the Giants and they did nothing different to what Wigan were doing. Wigan were offside majority of match, also gave 2 knock ons where the ball hit the tacklers arm as wrapping the player up. Thought this was play on nowadays? He then gave penalty to Wigan where Mcillorum was clearly holding Chan's shirt preventing him getting off, chan was trying to break the hold seen week in week out and it kicked off, first punch thrown by Farrell? I think but they still get the penalty. Don't mind if a ref makes errors cos its everyday life, I have said before refs are not clean as they should be and today does nothing to change these thoughts. 2 weeks on trot now with Hicks last week and Childs today. Today stuck 2 fingers up to dodgy decisions and reffing. The Giants defence was awesome and refused to be done!
