We lost !

What happened?

well observed Durham! not a great post really! i wasnt at the game but listened on the radio, widnes were missing 8 of their first 17 squad numbered players and we lose? have we been found out under anderson or is it a case of bad form etc??? we blew a decent lead yet again!

Too many players telling the Examiner that Widnes would feel the backlash (of thier own ineptitude v HKR) not enough players respecting either Widnes or the Ball. Dropping 3 points in 5 days is entirely down to poor attitude.

Well that's a result i didn't expect!



Would not want to be one of your players at training on Monday, Baloo will beast them!

I'm telling myself it's only 3 games in here but I'm still disappointed to lose this game. We gave it all the big talk in the Examiner and we've come up short. Have we fallen in love with ourselves? Have we started to believe our own bluster?

We were poor. Again. Flat, no shape, no lines being run, forwards not running onto the ball, the only set play is the Wardle to murphy back inside which is yet to yield anything. Poor options and lack of basic skill...... So much wrong with that display-

i think we are guilty of thinking we should win games without actually putting the concentration and effort in to win those games! fair play to widnes, and indeed hull kr! Have we been found out under anderson or is this a blip??

I think a little bit of credit should go to us widnes.

We played well and coincided two soft tries.

It was a great match to watch do u think people are underestimating widnes this year ?

Thought both teams had a very poor kicking game tonight, but both defenses held up quite well.



You seemed quite good at getting it to the wing but then ran out of ideas when you got it there. Always a joy to see Crabtree as he brings out the best in the opposition forwards. Ours seemed to want to hit him with everything they had on every tackle.



A good clean match, don't think it was the end of the world for you. We're not pushovers right now and you had a lot more pace on the night, we had to both work very hard for what we got.

Absolutely credit should go to widnes.

But I am massively disappointed because of the nasty deja vu, not from last week but from 2012, last year we responded well after a bad game, we didn't respond well and it was like watching brownys team in the slump with lack of spirit out there tonight.
