| Quote wigsey="wigsey"I watched the Game from the half way line and so had a great view.
1) Very flat performance. Only try was very lucky and never troubled the line in the first half.
2) Things livened up a lot when lunt came on.
3) Forwards never got on the front foot.
4) Crusaders were virtually mistake free and took their chances well - well done.
5) For me simpson had a shocker.
6) Ganson was generous to the Crusaders (probably due to the free chips he got in the hospitality lounge before the game).
These things happen. Better to lose one game by 30 than 3 or 4 by a few points. The main thing is to bounce back against our bogey team Salford on Tuesday.
Finally (although it's a so what)
Giants fans outnumbered Crusaders easily - Loads behind the sticks and 50% of the crowd everywhere else.'"
If you had recieved 2 yellow cards, would you have thought the ref was generous towards you.
The Giants fans turned out in force, well done looked at least 1300 ish, but no way was there 2000 plus! Did you get a Hull kr calculator for christmas

Does it really matter, all I know is we took a very good following, and just goes to show the potential if we do well - thought it was a tad petty for those who sang loyal supporters etc. how are we ever going to attract more fans if those that do go get 'loyal supporter' rubbish thrown at them when they do!

I never heard that. We did sing top of the league, you're having a laugh to your players.
You must have seen the "walk" ten minutes before full time. You bought more fans than saints and bradford but they had evening kick offs.

I too was also disgusted at this. The giants fans that sang this to our own fans should take a serious look at themselves.
Not that I did, but I think people had a right to leave before the end if they wanted, it was that bad. EVERYBODY that was there yesterday were loyal supporters. It was a long trip, and I for one could have spent my money in better ways.
I would be interested to find out if any of those singing "loyal supporters" were booing the team at half time.

| They weren't booing at half time and were in fact berating those who were !! ...i understand the point they were making eg why travel all that way just to leave because the team weren't playing well but anyone who travels to an away match has to be a good fan in the 1st place.

Here in Wrexham, with the Crusaders proping up the bottom of the league table, we don't have too worry about attracting band wagoners and glory hunters.

| There was plenty of booing at half time where I was sat and Im not surprised after that first half it was dire. At the end of day you pays your money etc - what I still dont understand is how the majority of the same team who beat Leeds played so badly yesterday. That performance was back to the bad old days for me. I left with 5 minutes to go because quite frankly the performance didnt warrant staying until the end. I did stay 10 minutes after the final whistle at Leeds though (credit where its due) oh that must not make me a loyal supporter sloping off early from Wrexham!.
One thing that did make me smurk was a comment from one of the more vocal sections of our support (presumably these so called 'loyal supporters') when trying to get others to join in was something like ' sing up you miserable b******s or go and support Town'.
Hopefully Tuesday will be better on all fronts!

Here chief, we've seen darker days than you. And I'm not on about SL. We're talking the JimCollins days (RIP) and before. Some of us lot have seen some right sh*te. And loved it!
Runcorn Highfield, Easter Monday, '87 or summat. If you were there you can tell me the score....
I was there.

I've no problems with people leaving early, they have payed for their seat and it helps ease traffic congestion at the end of the game for the more "loyal" fans.
The only booing I could hear was me and a few other Crusaders fans, when Ganson gave Witt the yellow.
The boo boys must have put in a lot less effort than their team because I couldn't hear them from the half way line but I did see the Hudds players managing to make a few breaks and score a try.
Witts yellow card was the straw that finaly broke the camels back, Ganson stirred up a hornets nest, the lads responded by lifted to another level and your pack payed the price.

i can understand the feeling behind that though as in the last 2 games against Wire and Leeds the fans have certainly got behind the players and IMO helped to spur them on to a great win , whereas Friday they were reluctant to give any vocal backing because the team were losing.
we've proved we can have an influence on the team with our vocals and it seemed at Leeds everybody was joining in yet a week later hardly anyone bothered.
i also acknowledge the players didnt give the fans much to sing about but at what point in games like Friday's do you stop offering support and think balls to it the players cant be bothered so why should i ?.

| Your fans were a credit to your club on Friday, Easily the best bunch we've had in Wrexham so far. I really do hope you win the league this year because some of the stuff you play is magical.
