| Quote Crufan94="Crufan94"Your fans were a credit to your club on Friday, Easily the best bunch we've had in Wrexham so far. I really do hope you win the league this year because some of the stuff you play is magical.'"
Thank you and your fans were very gracious in victory too, you could easily have rubbed our noses in it but it wwas great to see the fans mixing after without so much as a crossed word.....i love Rugby League fans !!!!

48 nil chief. Deighton Woolpack won the Holliday Cup (Joe Naidole somersault try in the mix) and the fella from St Joe's won the half time goal kicking contest.
I swear to God, if Fartown had played Deighton Woolpack that day Deighton would have won. Christ, we were a good team and plenty went pro. Joe, Carlton and we had the Hawkyard twins (were they twins? the looked so alike they could be) in the pack. Billy Stephenson, Wally. They were a cracking side.

He was let out on day release for manslaughter when he played for us FYI.
Not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, not the sweetest tea in the chest. They usually aren't and I don't glorify it. But he ran like he f*cking meant it. Nature of the beast.
It's like anything else. Just because they're good at a sport doesn't make them flawless. We're all flawed. So be careful who you shine your light at. He could be an a4sehole, quality RL player or not.*
*Not that Joe is an a4sehole EOS. Suffice to say, he's done some stupid sh*t.

| I'm sure you were better looking back then. Weren't we all. I was only 10-12 in the last DWMC pomp. I have pictures though from the 70's by all accounts they were a proper side then. Most of 'em are gone now like.

| Ive not been on here much over the weekend but just thought I'd come on to say, as a Wigan fan, I know how it feels today but I still believe that the GF will either be you vs us or you vs Wire come October.
Your team look like they showed up expecting an easy game and the complacency bit them in the bum before they had chance to change their mentality. Wigan were guilty of that a couple times last year: Bradford and Quins being prime examples, but look where we ended up. You probably dont need me to say this for you all to realise thats what happened but i felt it about time to come over to your board to say how happy I, and various other Wigan fans are, to be seeing another team challenging up there for the title.

| i must say i dont like this loyal supporter chant when folk leave early because of a poor performance or folk get lambasted for it, ATEOTD we are all there for the same thing,if people want to show their displeasure and leave early then thats their choice they pay their money just like everyone else and if they choose to only watch 70 minutes of a game then it's their choice it doesn't make them any less loyal. people who know me know that i have been loyal for a quarter of a century nearly now and have been through some really crap times with this club, but if i leave 4/5 minutes before the end of a very disappointing defeat it means i'm less loyal than someone who has only known good times
oh and if any of the old brigade read this, then john turner was at the game on friday and said to say hi to any of the "fartown few" and wondered where all the old faces were.
and yes farawayfartown he did mention you specifically

Played a few times for Joes against Woolpack, great team all over park. Joe and Tom were 2 of the nicest fellas you could meet until you went up against em on the field. The 2 Hawkyards were both very good RL players too. Billy and Wally at halfbacks. Had some great games against em

| Played with Joe at Lindley Swifts about 11 years ago. The guy was lovely off the pitch but a beast on the pitch.
