Wigan got 4,000 in the last round with a few hundred Crusaders fans there (plus season ticket discount), if we do that with a similar Swinton following we should be happy.



My guess would be nearer 3,000.

Thats is how it should be the times a ref bottles it and puts players on report so they get a one match ban for nothing (and the early guilty plea option makes it much more so as clubs feel their hand is forced and taking it the panel could see a longer ban) when the ref on the day should have the balls to make a decision right or wrong.

I was surprised when they announced the prices for this game, but when you think that it's highly likely the attendance for this match if it was priced at a tenner wouldn't realistically go beyond 4-5k, 3000 £15 is a lot more than 4000 tenners!

If it was a tender I may of considered it but £15 it's a no for me - it's not that I can't afford it I just don't want to watch a one sided game - I would rather save my money for next round or away match.

Considering there isn't another home game for a month a few may decide to come who maybe wouldn't have bothered if there was another game in next week or two.

One blessing is that the Manchester Derby is on the Monday and not part of any so called Super Sunday as think that would have tempted a few to stay at home or in the pubs.
