Firstly I never claimed to have any answers at all and secondly i was asking a simple question out of interest. Mainly as i don't like to just go off what SKY say and would rather ask people who are closer to the club.

I think the problem with our crowds is a mixture of everything. We have been lucky to have Ken do us some great deals on season tickets last few seasons and we are very grateful. I do think one more season of cheap season tickets would of been best for the club though! Market it right and we could of used Paul Anderson's "Create out own legacy" which with cheap tickets might of worked really well!

Also the way we ended our last season really annoyed the most loyal fans so trying to sell full priced season tickets was made extra hard!

and rightly so we are a disgrace





Seriously , I still see Wigan as favourites if they win all their games they will be top, we may even be third just losing to them, and winning our other games.



They play us at their gaff so they have the home advantage, the rugby gods, Phil the wiganer Clarke, Stevo I love Leeds, and Eddie the wire Hemmings in the media, clearly they are favourites for the hub cap, we have it all to do.

IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO COMPARE ALL SL CLUBS TO SEE THE PERCENTAGE OF SEASON TICKET HOLDERS COMPARED TO THE NUMBER OF 'WALK UPS'. I think thats the killer here we have around 5000 staunch fans (much lower than other clubs) maybe people in Huddersfield can't afford to part with 200 quid for a ST. I doubt many clubs have huge numbers of walk up fans with current prices at around 24 quid!. Its a vicious circle look at Bradfords crowd against Hull last Friday around 7,900 wasnt it? so its affecting all clubs to some degree or another but obviously our situation is worrying. We are simply not sustainable with the crowds we get.

we have never been sustainable ... its upto ken when he decides enough is enough... doubt he will throw in the towel just yet though with all the hard work thats gone it to get to where we are today, its been a long long road and i have been on it all the way and appreciate what i am seeing now

Thats another thing that annoys me too - compared to other clubs and the success they've had either recently or in the not too distant past and our rise up the leagues our crowds aren't actually that bad but no-one ever mentions the fact that other clubs dont get bumper crowds bit cannot wait to have a pop at ours......2,000 less than Bradford who were World champions 6 or 7 years ago but its US with the rubbish crowds ?

Surely success will get us more and better sponsorship deals and that could end up being more important than any possible rise in attendance.

yep, not the 1500 quoted by some numpty texting into radio leeds.



i think us playing in such a big stadium doesnt help with the way it looks either, if 5700 were at cas or wakefield grounds it wouldnt look as bad
