| He got into the England squad by offloading with 3 men round him, dont know when or why but its obviously been coached out of him now as he hasnt become an average player overnight and he doesnt really tackle at the moment, id describe it more as gently helping people to the ground. thats if they havent offloaded by the time our 3-4 forwards have struggled with em. Now correct me if im wrong but as a prop I was told to run hard at the gap and draw men to tackle me, a 2nd rower was always following and if you didnt break thru you was told to either turn into the tackle to off load or look for the pass as going to ground, worse case get a fast ptb. dont see much of it nowadays? Then onto the ptb where I think the only person ive seen get a penalty by struggling to get a quick ptb was Jerry. We seem to have changed tactics and its all down the middle, but with a pack that couldnt beat an egg and one of the better 3 quarter lines it seems a strange way to play IMO. No-one seems to back up so even if the forwards did try offload who would they pass to? highlighted by Koppy away at Widnes were on at least 2 occasions he was offering ball to a runner into gap but no-one within 10 feet of him, he then took forever to get up and ptb!!

He is having to take on a huge workload and has probably made more tackles and more metres than the rest of the props put together.'"
spot on, been in cracking form recently and even when he doesnt have a good game as some say he is up there as one of the top tacklers... which in turn will take its toll on your go forward, robs you of energy... all linked to the team not completing sets and giving pens away

| Faiumu may not be a prop but has been played there quite abit now and so far this season has been the top performer.
patrick's days as a prop are gone i think, primed to be a 2nd rower now

agree he has had a couple of decent runs recently, but defensively he has less power in his tackle than robbo and the attacker usually finds his elbows. i rate eorl, but its frustrating not seeing him skittling players in attack and defense. he needs to get himself back up off the deck quicker too, i never see him fighting on the ground like jerry

| .... also im surprised Fusi has been loaned out, id rather we had sent Koppy out on current form. We have no excuse tomorrow if we don't win the forward battle with the injuries cas have.
Im expecting a close one tomorrow, cas look great and Daz Clark looks like a world better. Expecting Koppy and Eorl to prove me wrong..... 3 tries each 30-22 giants!

| Wow, really didn't see that coming. Saw him as one of our senior props. Ballsy move by PA. Shows great faith in mulally, fooey and Johnson.
From what I've seen, I've liked the look of him. If PA thinks that he needs to improve, and he can cover him short term with better (in PA's eyes), then happy days.
It's certainly a good deal for the bulls.

| Was absolutely immense for us today. Ran on to the ball like a train every time. Really worked hard in defence. Very very impressed!

Been like that for us, which is why its such a baffling decision. mullally has come back a great player too, but still used too sparingly imo. Hope to see him back in the claret and gold before too long!
