Very moving. The key point is that their most talented player does not see a meaningful future at wakey.

any deal will be done to benefit WTW on this occasion FACT of course it will also have to benefit HG to an extent and all options will have to be weighed up but if Mr Davy don't play ball he can roll the dice and take a gamble.
I wish DB well at your club but i think it might backfire as we had major problems managing son many halves last year , it will be a massive shame if this is so as your club really does have that X factor this year and many of your long suffering fans deserve to see glory .

As a Wakey fan I would be very disappointed with just a transfer fee, but with uncle moneybags that Is a possible scenario! For us to maintain our top position we need a deal that will bring in other players. If the very strong rumors of 80K plus Kirmond and Aspinwall are true I would be very happy with that.
It's quite possible that Wakey have been toying with the Giants every step of the way. Knowing uncle Kens incredible wealth and knowing his ability to pay we may of just held out for the deal of the century!

Spot on.
As envisaged both sets of supporters are poles apart in what type of structure they think/hope/predict the deal will have.
I imagine it will be somewhere in the middle of all the predictions.Maybe a modest cash payment to Wakefield or one player joining Wakefield from Huddersfield.
If cash changes hand,its not uncommon for both clubs to agree that the amount is undisclosed,so once again everyone can start wildly speculating.
What will be will be!!!!! |
