| Quote jools="jools"I've suggested a mini ST ticket before- I've bought them for the ice hockey which we occasionally go to watch in the RL offseason, they have a take 5 or super 7. The problem is the club are so terrified that people will buy these INSTEAD of regular STs that they don't want to offer them.
If it were me I'd Keep the cheap deals of regular season tickets on until AFTER the fixture list comes out- and when the fixtures come out then also offer the mini tickets.'"
Never saw the logic of closing the old £99 season ticket deal in November even if you missed a few games and bought one in April it would be a good deal to someone who got into the GIants early in the season.

| the club are doing deals for non ST holders for the super 8's,which works out at £17.50 per game, would that tempt you into buying one if you were a non ST holder?

With the dates known it is fair enough if you know you can make all 4 games but I think the take up will not be massive but even a few is better than nothing especially if they move on to a season ticket in future.

| I think the Super 8's fixtures today show where the game is inevitably heading. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Sundays are not going to be a viable option going forward, I would move games to Friday at, say, 7:45. They may not shift any more bums on seats, but playing Friday will at least minimise disruptions with the only movement to Thursday, and that'll be a uncommon occurrence, happening more and more towards the Super 8's - buts that's something we can do nothing about.
Sundays actually don't have that big an increase in the crowds, especially this year on last. Obviously it needs to be combined with better promotion and more effort from the club to try and get people into the ground. I think Fridays are the best idea going forward.

Various ticket options ie a family ticket, a couples ticket, grouping games together and buying a particular package and basically getting large companies in the town involved and offering their employees discounted tickets for a certain area if the company sponsored a match for a certain amount !!
ideas that i thought could be tried just to see if it would make a difference but all were dismissed.

| The problem Daz is that the club think many of the people who would take up these offers would either otherwise buy season tickets or come at full price- to some extent they are correct- how many times have we seen regulars ask for buddy/cut price tickets?
IMO The main issue is the changing kick off times. If things were settled people would be able to commit.
Be interesting to see if the super8s tickets are taken up with most on Fridays

| The club needs to have a different season ticket system.
Because of the non Sunday matches And holidays I didn't buy a season ticket this year as with holidays and one pre planned weekend I would miss between 3 and 5 home matches this season. It would have cost me around £40 more to buy a season ticket than pay in advance in game week.
For example I go to Florida 1st September for two weeks and miss the Cas and Wire matches so can't buy a special ticket for the Super 8's either.
My suggestion would be a full season ticket at say £235 £16.78 per match
A 10 match season ticket @ £18 per match £180
A half season ticket @ £19 per match £133
That way people who miss matches or can't get midweek can get a season ticket of sorts the club gets the pre commitment it wants and guaranteed money up front everyone's happy and the bigger the commitment the lower the cost !!

Tricky one as a few full season ticket holders would probably drop to a lesser price level as they buy now knowing they will miss games but do it as that is the only real option but the £180 on your figures is better than not buying at all which I think will be a real.issue next season as after this year's fixture schedule and especially the Super 8s I can see numbers dipping however we end the season through no fault of anyone at the club just the reality of cost and the number of midweek games.
As I'm in Glasgow, Dublin and New York at various times during the Supers 8s Sky will be a God send for watching games I could not make anyway but whilst in the short term that is great for me for our club it is probably the biggest factor in sales not just of seasons but match day tickets and people keep saying it needs to be addressed but unless Sky give up on Thursday's we know it won't.
