Have the £99 season tickets been a success?

We've sold 1,500 new adult tickets, think we'd lost 300 from last year but that's probably the parents of kids who can't make Fridays (or Wednesday, Monday, Thursday) or the ones who are too old for the free tickets.



Obviously the 1,500 new adults is a big one for us if we can have a good season on keep them in the future.

Done some digging around as i was bored.



I've got the average of the high and low season tickets from each club to see how ours compare, like for like main stand adult seating tickets only as our were:

There is only a finite number of people in this town who have an interest in RL,either passionate or passing,we need to accept that.



Wish they would drop 'the birthplace of RL' from our badge,like it makes us somehow special,it's obvious Huddersfield was just a convenient meeting point betwixt Yorkshire & Lancashire to have a meeting all them years ago.

And as the previous poster explained- he was comparing like for like- (as far as is possible).

To sit in a covered area on a (rickety, cramped) seat is a damn sight more than £22 at Leeds!

it won't be many- I suspect nearer 2800 than 4000. The fact they are doing deals on the first two games indicates sales were disappointing- but then what else can you do? It's all very well advertising but we are so used to ignoring advertising that it's not necessarily seen. Kr managed to sell 6000 without a cheap price- the interest is already there.

I've no idea when the next town game is or how much as I just don't look. Someone asked me last week about season tickets and was gutted when he realised he'd missed the early bird, so he won't now purchase. - if the club had sorted this earlier he would have been aware as he would have seen posters/flyers at the junior club- but as it's off season the opportunity to tap into that area was diminished.

Bumped into someone the week before xmas who used to bring her family and sit in front of us- she's not been for a couple of years- she was gutted she didn't know about the cheap tickets- but as it was the week before xmas when I told her about them she didn't have the spare cash to buy them.
