i read on here somewhere that cording's defence wasn't that good, i thought him and fairbank were superb yesterday,especially in defence and put some real big hits in.

cording went well yesterday . one or two missed tackles but stood up well, anderson has certainly given him a chance and deserves credit for that.. hes doing ok and keeping his place |

I really pleased cording got his first try. Hes a really nice lad and by all accounts a really hard worker. Potential monkey off his back in getting his first try and not having to do the nude run- pressure off the lad now he can just concentrate on his rugby.

Cording played well but you can tell he is not used to long stints on the pitch. He was out on his feet and probably should have come off five minutes earlier as he had started dropping of tackles.

Yesterday there were only two overseas, one Cumbrian and 14 West Yorkshire born players in the 17.
Credit to Wigan as well as I think they had only 2 overseas players as well.
