I lived in Surbiton for nearly 20 years. I never did see Rob out and about, although it would explain why I once saw a Mini driven by Ricki Sheriffe pass my house.

Best wishes to The Purdhams in their new ventures. Remember you'll always be assured a warm welcome darn sarf when you visit.

Best of luck Mr & Mrs Purdo, thanks for sticking with us, bringing us great entertainment and being Captain Fantastic. Just say you will remember the beautiful south when you are on your cold, wet, windy farm in the middle of December! I am looking forward to hearing you both next wed on the BBC London Rl programme.

Really sorry that we won't be there this afternoon for Rob's farewell. Someone who by his longevity and moreso his attitude will always be a legend in London Rugby League.
