Chargers won 12-6. Poor game with a lot of handling errors due to conditions. But chargers dominated territory, possession and the penalty count. Torfaen' story was the last play of the match.

Royal Navy lost 4-24. 0-0 at half time with the Navy doing well give a ferocious wind blowing into their faces in an error strewn knock on fest. They will look at refereeing decisions for two game breaking tries but in truth Walney deserved it. The Navy didn't quite click today and the better team won. I believe a couple of Walney lads are ex Championship, it showed at times.

Thanks to all of you who made the effort to come. Sorry the game wasn't better but after 4 months of not playing and a wet muddy field I think we did ok.

You did more than ok. Appreciation to all the players and back up staff. There was a fair bit of niggling by the visitors and you did well not to respond. Some semi pro teams and at least one pro team could do with showing your teams commitment.
