| Quote Shoe Shine Johnny="Shoe Shine Johnny"I live in the Channel Islands so can't make every game. I'll be there for the Salford game probably. Just seen the tries on Sky Sports - the conditions looked terrible. It is also tough to follow a club getting 12,500 the day before.
Lots to think about. Hopefully, some of the young kids on debut would have enjoyed the experience.'"
I wonder if those 12,500 were made aware of the yesterdays fixture.

I'd love to see the reaction of those working on the gate, asking for 8 tickets next to each other. I remember in days gone by they couldn't scramble a single ticket together for the East Stand claiming it was sold out, yet it was over half empty

You couldnt buy anything more then a single ticket online before the game. How is that anyway to encourage fans to come to the game?
This coupled with the news that there was only 1 stand open, why would I bring friends down to an embarrasement like this? I even had one poster suggest that all 8 of us buy single seats and sit in different areas. Great day out with friends while I look at the unused 12,000 seats by myself.
For a club struggling to put numbers through the gate, they make it near impossible to buy a seat in a stadium over 3/4's empty. No matter the results on the field, marketing, pr and press they get, making it impossible to buy tickets is not going to win you any fans. I would use the word amature, however I know of amature sports clubs that are have better operations, that would be an insult to them.

| Hindy's right see may earlier account of paying on the gate! Who would want to come again? Solution for the future is make all the seats unallocated or at least just reserve the middle section only.

| I have to say I found the whole of yesterday's experience really flat. There was absolutely no atmosphere, the game was played in virtual silence. Positives - Ronnie's pre match interviews with Cameron Smith and Billy Slater, plus Will Sharp getting another good try, and Ben Bolger continuing to impress.
Well done Skolars for showing that it is possible for a rugby league team to have not one but TWO shirts available to buy!!

| I really like the Skolars away kit, it is classy and unlike any other league shirt I have seen. How difficult is it to get a kit out for Xmas let alone March!

What colour is it? I saw a drawing of it posted on here last month that made it look like beige with narrow white hoops. I'm assuming that in the flesh it'smore gold or bronze or something.

| I would say light gold/bronze and white hoops it sounds hideous but it really works. I think you will find pics on skolars.com. I will certainly get round to spalshing £35 on it, the home kit however looks
like a poor mans South Sydney shirt.
