Im sick and tired of playing at The Stoop. The club should move our ground to somewhere more accessible so I can watch the game. I won't be getting a season ticket next year otherwise.

It's enough to make you want to leave the country

Does anybody with local knowledge know why that walking route from Hounslow station ends with a big U-bend? Are there no footpaths through from any of the roads between Kneller Road and Chertsey Road?

I'll be going via Hounslow then. Has anyone ever been in the White Hart, Whitton? It seems to be on the way.

OK, so there may be pedestrian access to Chertsey Road. Not sure of crossing points though.

Not for a while....not what I would call a good boozer unless it's had a refurb recently.

110 Bus runs every 57/27 towards twickenham. Leaves Bus station which is 5 minutes from Hounslow East Tube.

Other routes you could take would be Waterloo to Kew Bridge station then the 267 to Twickenham.

Gets a reasonable write up on Beer in the Evening but will take your word for it.



Can you use a Travel Card on those bus services?

There is a bridge just outside the Stoop across the A316.



From Kneller Road, cut down Talma gardens and then go over the bridge.



As you say, no need to go all the way down to the roundabout.



It's still a boring walk though.



EDIT: On second thoughts the 281 bus (from Hounslow) takes you into Twickenham town centre.

Thanks for that. Probably go for the bus, though I did find a map that shows the footbridge. Need to use the Zoom control&searchp=ids.srf&mapp=map.srf
