| not arguing that point sanjuin! just saying there is a call in the game for vr at every game in sl, the comp is skewed at the mo where some games have the benefit of VR (if you see it that way) others dont.
In all games with VR the refs tend to leave the call to them more times than they should, why? because if they make the decision and then its later shown to be wrong then they get it in the neck for that.
VR have a protocol and a tick sheet that has to be followed, the final one being to ask the tv producers have they any other angles. The decision should always be skewed to awarding the try not disallowing, but if there is an offence etc then it cannot be awarded.
Simple solution for dracs! stop showing every game live, then ref will have to make his own decision with advice from tj and ig

| was interesting yesterday, ref actually made his own decision on a call and actually if you saw the replay a try should have been awarded! simultanious grounding of the ball is a try! Glad they didnt go to VR as would have been more points to saints!
In my view refs should not be going to vr on every try and should rely on there own view of things, sadly i think game is going direction where all tries may go to VR

| Just got back from France. An enjoyable game and competitive, but more like a championship performance from each side rather than Superleague, both sides with a lot of people out injured.
Main thoughts:
Bronocs had the best defence and best attack but made more mistakes.
Commited performance for the full 80, even though it was around 28C for the whole match.
If more varied and interesting attacks means more mistakes I think we ought to carry on with the tactic, at least we will lose in style, capitulations have been the worst feeling for me this season (can see TR's hand in the style of play already).
Refereeing decisions numerous and strange and probably did favour Broncos in key 50-50s, though the penalty count was 5-11 against us mainly rightly for offside.
Spoke to Dan Sarginson, off 4-6 weeks with damaged leg ligaments but seemed in good spirits.
Perhaps I should retire to France

must have been watching a different game mate - I thought both were equaally as good or bad in attack and defence - most of the game was even and Catalans also made some bad errors which cost them points

well played Broncos and well done to a makeshift Catalans side who deservedly scrambled the points IMO

good play from The Broncos who were well organised throughout and only beaten by some clever Catalans moves - Mr Rea was disappointed after the game thinking his team could have snatched it but he, and the disappointingly low travelling fans must have taken oodles of positives from the performance - good input from Rob Bailey throughout (I was sat just behind them)

Catalans were hard done by hence Robinsons anger after the game

yeah, seems a nice kid and hoping to get a game at the end of the season - a bit hopeful methinks ?
