Gower did not play badly last night! The team generally were half a second off in timing, no-one to take any of Gowers offloads! what we did do was set up by Gower, kicking was not the best but a lot of that is pressure from the defence.

Dixon was the shining light on the night. Agree Caro showed his inexperience a couple of times but he is still a kid

resting Gower why? he runs the team out on the pitch, the only try we had was a cclassic poachers try for Dorn but that half a second timing out and ruled forward



As for the try from Wellens on the 60th min, it was the TJ AND the IG that indicated a grounding of the ball, I was sat in line but near the back of the stand did n ot look like it was grounded, but the two that did see the grounding were both less than 10mtrs away so hey ho, be interesting to see it on telly on sunday night tho

Well I never.

Was at the game and just arrived home after a weekend break. I would like ayone who watches all the tries to let me know whether or not either of Wellans tries were actual tries. From where we were behind the sticks one try looked like he dropped the ball before he grounded it and the other looked way short of the line. Most of us behind the sticks agreed no tries but I would like anyone who watches to let me know whether they were or were not true tries. Paddock was so digusted with the decisons he was comical to watch and one of the highlights of the evening. As for Gower - well I think he is nothing short of a petulant bad tempered child. London tried hard but nothing came off and far too many penalties given away, we lost because we were not good enough to win but for Gower to storm off and ignore London fans and not even shake the hand of opposition players beggars belief. Grow up Gower, no one wants to lose but you should never show such bad sportsmanship it was very poor behaviour from a senior player and not one I would want the young lads to pick up on.

Ah well, 3 teams have had worse floggings than us (not much consolation but still.......)



Let's hope HKR won't have anything to play for next week!.
