Given his username I reckon he's really upset about missing out on of those legendary 40 quid curries.

| Quote Chris Brown="Chris Brown"Travelled from the station to the ground recently following OUFC. There was a bus special about 40 minutes before kick off (which I missed waiting for my sons train to arrive) and it was about £9 in a taxi to the ground
Its not walkable
Parking exists but its a nightmare to get out as the road out is the one than fans walk across the whole width of stopping cars from going anywhere, there is parking in various warehouses on the way in though which might be quicker'"
I doubt there'll be too many pedestrians there to hold up the traffic flow...!!

| I see that Leeds Carnegie have spent the last 2 months playing elsewhere in Yorkshire to protect the Headingley pitch from damage. Tenants being forced to play elsewhere who would have thought it.

| I suspect that the special buses are organised by Wasps or Wycombe Wanderers. Our 'organiser' is Gus, so no chance there will be a special running.
Done some digging on service buses, the Arriva 32 runs from high street stop S (not too far from the station), get off at the Hourglass pub, which according to mickyb1234 is the nearest to the ground and is fan freindly.

| Quote tikkabulls="tikkabulls"Five of us coming down Friday by train, staying 2 nights
at Feltham. Apart from hiring a car for a day, any ideas on
getting to Wycombe at a reasonable cost?'"
Oh you poor sod. Well first off you have my greatest sympathy, sounds like you've been roundly shafted. If it's any consolation (which it isn't) so have most of us.
The quickest way (in reality, the only way) is a fast train from Feltham to Waterloo, then Bakerloo tube to Marylebone, then a fast train to High Wycombe. The cost for 5 of you? You might want to think about hiring that car.
Sorry I can't be more help.

| If you're in a hotel that is part of a big chain eg Premier Inn, is there any chance of switching?
I mean they bump customers sometimes so surely it's possible?

Make sure you DON'T have Oyster cards. They aren't valid beyond West Ruislip on Chiltern.
A through ticket Feltham to High Wycombe will include the tube transfer.

No they don't.
Some of them stop at Wembley Stadium, but not all.
