| Quote Rooster Booster="Rooster Booster"GF. You're now starting to sound like Dally Messenger or eels fan with the "You are Defending Gus" spin. Making it very "you're with me or against me". Which simply isn't true.'"
It's nothing like that....read my signature for an example of their work...I am simply stating FACTS....
Quote Rooster Booster="Rooster Booster"Thing is, I can't think of anyone who has comes on here defending Gus or are happy with club events. Hands up if you do. But just because someone gets fed up with your constant attacks on the club, on him or disagrees with you on a matter, or offers up a potential alternative explanation, does not mean they DEFEND GUS.'"
I think you'll find PC Plum said...
Quote Rooster BoosterSo it's Gus fault Broncos fans can't / can't be bothered turning up to support their team ? Grow up.'"
...to me, this is another way of saying it's not Gus's fault. Sorry, but it is. He has had the 9 of the 10lowest attendances of all time on his watch....whose fault is it if not the guy tasked with increasing crowds?
Quote Rooster Booster="Rooster Booster"It's about the club. Everyone cares about that. People in the past have supported you and agreed with you on many, many things. Myself included. But when on nearly every single thread you post on these days, there's constant jibes, attacks and personal attacks on the club, and its staff, may have contributed to people being less interested in what you have to say. Myself included there also.'"
So basically, you're saying that there's no point in highlighting the failures of the CEO because weall already know than and nothing's going to change? Tell you what......something has changed.....lessand less people attend London Broncos RL games at every turn.......I seriously doubt that their will be a team in SL come the 2015 Season...but hey ho,let's all stay quiet and let the club be destoyed
Quote Rooster Booster="Dan Stains woz God"Well said Boosty...personally, I am sick to death of reading the constant attacks on the club and it's staff.
The personal stuff directed at the CEO is way over the top and tbh, the ganging up of grown men on here is akin to bullies in the playground, imo.'"
The stuff written about Gus isn't personal....I have said he's probably a really nice bloke, but professionally, he's killing the club. I am not "ganging up" on anyone....I have always called it as I've seen it and spoken from the heart...it just so happens that the current CEO is overseeing the darkest and most unprofessional period in the SL Clubs lifetime.

Perhaps his tenure coincides with the collective previous incompetence/poor decsions from the likes of Rea, Brown, Lenagan, Hogg, Hughes, Blanchard, Powell, et al ?
As RB states, this is not a case of being pro GF or Gus, like you, I see the many issues.
And whilst you are looking for someone to blame, here's a couple of others. Elmbridge Eagles are running their annual festival for Minis / Juniors on morning of the St Helens games ..... starting up at 11am and involving hundreds of players and officials, many of whom normally watch the Broncos. I understand Staines are doing a similar thing. The Army Navy game has pushed the Saints kick off time back to 1pm. I will leave you to work out the impact, but nothing to do with Gus.

Fine. I'm sure the stuff being served on the pitch may have some contribution as to why people didn't renew their season tickets over the last few years though. But if it's simply all Gus's fault. Fine.

Sorry GF. Anyone that comes on here intimating our CEO cops it up the gary from Quins or suggests we are to visualise him gobbling off the boss. Really? I'm wondering what you deem is personal then? Here's a reminder of only two of your NON-personal comments.

As I said. The way you post and the repetitive content, some of which has contained abuse, has had myself and maybe others losing compassion for your arguments or indeed the motivation to support what you say. All this despite our despair for the club. You used to make sense, we used to listen, sit back and realise. But lately it's become some sort of mission above all others for you. If Gus gets the old tin tack, we all hope his replacement can turn things around. But it won't be on the back of your tirades. Still, at least we won't have to hear how you're not answering his calls again. And I fear for the next CEO.

Surely all Bronquins CEO's have been as ineffective as the current one? After all, none of them were able to convince Gutters to stump up the money for a season ticket.

i think this is all very sad. Gus may or may not be the worst CEO ever for Quins/Broncos - or the whole of sport. Surely the real point is we as a team have been rubbish for the past 4 seasons or so. We barely win a home game and on top of that we havent got a history to rely on? I became a season ticket holder at Hull in 1964 - was 10/11. We won, i think 2x at home. We were hopeless.
but we still got 2000/4000 because people remembered the glory days of the 1950's grandads took sons who took their kids. There was a tradition. i started taking my son to Broncos in 1999 (cup year). He doesnt live in Engalnd anymore - but is still passionate about them and about RL in general. But we havent got many of them.
i am as depressed and fed up as anyone about where the club is going i dont understand David Hughes' but without him we would have been buried a long time ago. I dont understand Gus - but he hasnt had much to work with. i dont understand Tony Rea - why do we seem so badly set up at times? i know nothing of marketing/adveritising etc so cannot comment though i previously have supported Gutterfax's ideas. if i won the Euromillions i would put money in. if we had 10,000 crowds and could do a Portsmouth (were i currently live) i would chip in my couple of thousand - but we dont
what i do know is when we win, and i see us win or even when we play really well and lose - it makes my weekend better. i feel happier and go to work on Monday feeling better about the world.
i will be at feathersone, i will be at every home game i can and (stupidly, unless its Gillingham) will renew my season ticket next year if we survive. Becuase i am a SUPPORTER, and thats what supporters do. I pray it gets better, i fear it wont, but until we finally die i will support.

| There's a guy (from Leigh I think) who's posted on here from time to time under the a moniker something like "cj hates union". I pointed out to him that defining his whole being on here through a negative was pretty silly and hardly likely to have people, unless already like-minded, paying much attention. He ignored me of course.
gutterfax has now got himself into the same mode, epitomised by his childish avatar, and he'll stay on my ignore list until he starts writing stuff with an element of balance to it as he once did. (Although I try to ignore him, I do have to read some of his diatribes when quoted by others.)
Well done to those who take the trouble to reply to his rants in detail. I just can't be bothered.
EDIT: I come on here to discuss rugby league, not gutterfax. So the above is my final comment about him.
