I make it all of them are out of contract at the end of next season so if Maguire wants to, he can form a completly new front row from 2011.



For that reason I think if he achieves a final next season then that'll be a significant achievement.

One of the things IFL specifically mentioned at the shareholders meeting with regard to this year and his decision to change Noble was that the pre-season, including the warm weather training week, was poorly organised. That was clearly reflected in performances as well to back the point up. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new man can achieve straight out of the blocks.

Maybe it might be easier for him as we've all seen this season with Coley and Phelps the levels of performance players can turn out when their contracts are coming up for extension.



There are some big players on that list in Feka, Fielden, Coley & Phelps who will all want to be in bang top form when it comes time to discuss any new possible deals.



A lot of our early seasons losses to Hull KR, Cas & Wakey were still close games and that extra bit of motivation could be the difference here imo.

It will work to our advantge.

Maybe Nobby doesn't believe in pre-season as part of his plan to build momentum but being underprepared seems to be a general feature of his teams.

I'd wonder personally why the hell you'd want to do fitness work at the end of a 8 month SL season. Prep for that kind of tournament would be pretty different to gearing a team up for a season after a long break.

The one's in bold can go for me, and unless Hansen can add another dimension to his game he can go to, harsh but it's whats needed if we want to succeed.



With Karl Pryce it's dependent upon what McGuire can get out of him.
