Typical they get home games on both our possible playoff weekends.

Oh great and I suppose this isnt enough notice either

Someone should raise this issue at the next fans forum



Both games are on saturday which does not help

The second one is only a clash if we lose the first one, is it not?



It's a week off for the weekend of September 18th if, all being well, we finish in the top two and win our first play-off game.



Plenty of rugby still to be played between now and then, but fingers crossed it's just the Latics v Sunderland game that clashes. Could we play at Robin Park on the Sunday afternoon?



Means that Latics must be away for the weekend of the final eliminator, too, so there'd be no problem with that one I guess. The worst thing would've been having to cede control of that one, be it kick-off date/time or, worse, venue.



Friday 24th November, 8pm - Wigan v Crusaders, on a Brian Noble end-of-season-surge, for a place in the Grand Final. Well, we can dream!

No Problem.



Play them on Sunday at 6pm.



That should be enough notice for the RFL and SKY.

Would we not play Friday if we are still top?

I don't know if their is flexiblity but if we finish 1st were due to play Friday 8pm and if 2nd Saturday 6:00pm ish.

Sounds like a right screw up then.

Looking at next year we are fine for Good Friday.



I suspect the club won't comment on potential clashes until Sky and ESPN have picked which games will be shown by them on tv.

I think it will be less of a problem this year. It'll be far easier for the club to predict when they are likely to need to play and for the RFL and clubs to sort it out. Like I said in my match preview, a win on Sunday would surely seal a top 2 place and thus a home game.

I was just gonna say that. Plus Man City will have Europa league fixtures to sort out so that game might be postponed anyway
