So, season 2013 has only just finished and after the announcement of Hansen's departure, Twitter and Journo's are already questioning our credentials for 2014.



I just find it laughable that this is happened after what we did last year.



If you ask me, a top 4 finish and in contention for both trophies is as realistic as last year. If any coach is able of doing just that, it's Shaun Wane. We've arguably the best squad in the league, and I'd be disappointed if we aren't close to being Super League 2014 champions this time next year.

I think this season will be a real test for Wigan, and Wane. Lost a lot of experience, and has new players in the squad who need to "Buy in" and be integrated. That said, i don't see that other teams have improved their squads that much, excepting Stains, and my beloved Salford

of course.

We do have more than our fair share of doom mongers to say the least. I'd say we have one of the beat squads for next year, if not the best, and fully expect us to be there or thereabouts again next season. Meanwhile they'll carry on telling us IL and co are making all the wrong moves.

The leagues weak enough to cope but the WCC could get a bit out of hand IMO.

I don't agree you have the best squad, but imagine you'll finish in the top 3. Writing you off, especially after 2013, is just stupid.

ow god we have been down this road many times player for player comparison. but Saints have defiantly improved in the area they need improving the most and i wouldn't be surprised to see saints champions.

Just out of interest, who do you think has the best squad? Wigan might not have the best 17, but I'm struggling to see a stronger squad of 25-30 players.
