What position would you rather be in right now?



4 points clear at the top of the table, or 4 points behind like wire and saints and in the semi-final?



Personally I would rather be in Saints and Wires postion.

Just interested to get everyones views on this....



Although its is a much harder achievement to win the hubcap then the challenge cup, it is not really recognised as such a huge achievement.

In the semi's, we have no guarantee of winning the league yet but we definately can't win the cup.

In the semi but it is a nice second .

sooner win the grand final, so being 4 points clear with no distractions here on in is at least a consolation.

I'm happy enough being in the position we are in, ok we are out of the cup but we lost with great credit in the performance. Even if we had beaten Leeds we may have lost the semi final, so being in a semi is no guarantee of a cup either.



In the league we are in a position where if we lose three of our remaining 12 games the worst we will do is finish 3rd (even if those losses were to Saints, Wire and Leeds). If Wire or Saints lose 3 of their 12 they could wind up 7th. If we win the ties v Saints, Leeds and Wire our position becomes even stronger. The higher your league place, the better your chances are in the playoffs.



Like everyone I would have loved a trip to Wembley and to see us lift the cup but it wasn't to be, it's gone, draw a line under it and move on. The media may have devalued the prestige of the League Leader's Shield but in our current position we have an opportunity to win two trophies. I wouldn't give that up to be playing catch up yet again in the hope of getting one (despite the fact that I have more affection for the Challenge Cup final than the Grand Final).

Just think had Noble still been here we may or may not have beaten Leeds, but we'd have been languishing around ninth in the table waiting for a late rally up the table into fifth.

Semi and 4 points behind is a better position. Good chance of winning both trophies in that situation.
