This is true, I just worry about what happens if there's a bit too much space between Carmont and Bailey, a nippy player like Danny McGuire would be through in an instant.

To be honest Madge doesn't seem the type to go for the smoke and mirrors approach like Saints used to do with KFC. I don't think he'd use up a place in the squad for a player if he doesn't think he's capable of playing at 100%.
