| I really don't understand why Prescott gets so much stick to be honest, I think he's come on leaps and bounds this year, his go forward has improved no end and he is able to stay on the pitch for long periods when we're depleted in the pack.
Re stats on the Superleague site I wouldn't look too much into them to be fair, not been on for a while but as an example Lockers stayed on 14 assists for about 6 weeks despite making more in that period so not sure if all the stats are updated as they should be. Wish they'd list the players in proper alphabetical order too the first name business is a joke and totally random whether they use Mike, Mick, Mickey or Michael for example

| I feel hes been a good player upto now but hes not kicked on as everyone expected and gone that extra step. He offers hardly line breaking or offloading ability which sets apart good props from great props I feel. I feel now the team has progressed as much as it has it may be time up for Preccy at 24.

| tbh I cant see those SL stats being right.....Prescott seems to knock on in every 10 carries at least. Which is a shame because if he could sort his ball retention out he'd be a pretty good front rower.
There is no way prescott has only made 9 errors all season. He made two shockers against wire for a start and every time he runs into the line you get the feeling the ball is going to come lose, as you do with fielden!!

| Prescott isn't that bad wioth ball retention. The problem is that he tends to save his errors for big moments in tight games so they stick out like a sore thumb. In the cakewalk we had aginst Salford the week before Wire his handling was pretty much faultless

| He is a squad player at best, he doesnt excel in any area and i cant see him ever being asked to represent England (although he pretends to be Irish) or GB. I would keep him over players like Fielden every day of the week, but if the likes of Ben Davies and Mossop are coming through with Hock's return, Lima's arrival and an in form Coley, i imagine he may have to settle for a few u20's games next year.

| You might not value the fact that he is home grown and gives as much as Fielden for, i imagine much less money, but i do.

| O Carroll would go before PP for me. 4th and maybe 5th choice prop next year. Great strength in depth.

firstly his wage is going down next year. Secondly last time I looked, a while ago admittedly, he had made far more tackles, marker tackles, yards, offloads and busts. I would always take a homegrown player as a preference if they are somewhere near comparable but unless something has changed significantly without being evident on the pitch Fielden is considerably better in the majority of areas you'd expect from a prop

| I should hope his wage is going down next year as i imagine he has been one of if not our biggest earners. And has he really made 3 x the busts Morley has.
Fielden is 31 and our most experienced prop yet he was clearly bullied in the game last week. I dont care what stats he has to show if he cant hold his own with the best forwards in the league then he needs to change clubs.
