Gutted, but not surprised. At least he's not going to another SL team. Doesn't sound like he's just chasing the cash about either which I think he would have been accused of if he'd have ended up at either Saints or Hull. He genuinely wants to go back to Oz and there's nothing the club could do about it. Hopefully the wheels are already in motion for finding a replacement of the same quality.

so two new half backs next year and a lot of salary cap space to play with!

I like how we offered him the contract he wanted, but chose wisely in terms of his private life. I'm fully expecting him to return to Oz now. He's been a great signing for the club, but we still have half a season left yet! Thank you, Brett!
