They probably won't be walking to the new ground either.
The club will have to put some kind of transport on, but I don't see why it would have to be free. |

good point,,we might not be able to cover costs,honour players contracts,seal major sponsorship deals,,we might have to sell our ground to a major supermarket chain and move in as lodgers with the local football team,,,,no things could never get that bad  |

Why's it embarrassing?
We knew we were going to have to take a hit financially, we also (well most) knew that we were likely to have to play at Widnes or Leigh for all/most of next year as Knowsley Road [ihad[/i to be vacated at the end of this season.
It'll be embarrassing if we get gates of 4,000 next year, but that hasn't happened yet. |
