Oh dear. The gloating has started a little early in Direland - the assumption clearly being that the Wolfs will be progressing to Wembley. How massively disrespectful to the Catalans and how typical of the misplaced arrogance of the Wolfs. Just when you thought Leeds had the stupidest fans in SL title sewn up, up pops the OP to put Dire fans right back in contention for the award for conspicuous muppetry.



At least with Saints fans (I can't believe I'm about to type this, but really Whino and Dire fans have driven me to this!) you get a reasonable quality of trolling and general banter (especially following the departure of my old sparring partner Badwanger from the scene

).



So if we are fortunate enough to make it to the GF I hope we meet Saints there rather than Leeds or Warrington - let's face it, if we ended up playing either of Leeds or Wire the idiocy of their fans means that this board would be clogged up with muppet posts in the run up to the final.



They do say you should judge a man by the quality of his enemies. On that basis I think we should stick with the old enemy St Helens and just ignore the idiots from Warrington and Leeds. (Feels odd complimenting Saints fans, but I guess really I'm saying they're not as thick as Dire or Whino fans, so its not that much of a compliment!!).

In all seriousness remember what we were like in 2007 when we played Catalans in the CC semi? We all thought we had won and were already making plans for Wembley. Im sure there will be plenty of Wire fans who dont get too arrogant about this game and wont be making coments like the OP has.

I remember that gane well, all the sad little Dire fans cheering on Catalans, having a bit too much pop during the day and kicking off at the end of the match.

I'll be having a Warrington theme party consisting of sitting around in my underwear looking cross-eyed, flirting outrageously with my teenage sister and getting violent with anything not adorned in primrose and blue.

Saturday I'll be at the U20 Wigan v Bradford game at Orrell.



Sunday it's my youngest daughters 1st wedding anniversary, so we are going to their house for a bbq.
