| Finch has been our best player over this run of tough games. His link up was sensational for that try, so quick my dad missed it

| Another performance with touches of class. Has done well to ignore the slow start and is a good leader on the pitch

| There's an interview with him in this week's League Weekly. He says he's settled in Wigan, enjoying Super League and has no intention of leaving early.
He says 'It was frustrating for probably the first month and a half but I'm really pleased with the last 6 or 7 weeks. I think my form has shown that I'm really happy here. I'm signed for two years and I'll definitely see that out. Whether I'll return to NRL in the future I'm not too sure'.

| Quote NickyKiss="NickyKiss"Finch has shown his class for the past couple of months now. I'll be honest and say I thought he struggled a touch in the 2nd half of Saturday with the intercept, a forward pass and a couple of missed tackles but he also came up with some good skills and overall he's turned into the player we all wanted him to be.'"
Thing is with the intercept, had it reached Richards it was try time. The correct play just telegraphed the execution a little. Finch is a class act and he is a top rate organiser. If you watch him he never shuts up and always directs players where he wants them.
BTW How slow was the dog rider ??

| Its a joy to watch Finchy on the pitch.. Hes like Richie Mathers in a way with all his back slaps and arm waving but I guess Finchy knows where he wants the players to be instead of Mathers just waving like he'd just seen his wife in the crowd.
Was great to see after Charnleys full lengther, Finchy was the last man celebrating with him and he was biting Charnleys ear off talking to him - I wouldnt be surprised to hear that he was telling him to forgot the try, it had gone now and he had focus again.. after telling him what a tremendous effort it was.
Long may Finchy be our 6, because we look a better side for it.

| Sometimes players in the playmaking positions in the NRL take a bit of time to adjust to the different game over here, for Finch the injury put him behind the process from the start. Monaghan wasn't outstanding in his first season with Wire but from 2009 onwards he was a top player, I wouldn't be surprised if Finch becomes a big player in SL from 2012. I remember when Wigan signed him I thought this was one of the bigger signings of the off season, in the NRL he was a pretty good performer and he seemed to get picked up by top clubs. I can remember many years back the talk in Aus about whether Finch would be the long term heir to Andrew Johns at the Knights.

| The link up with the two is great and after a tough start Finch has settled. He does a lot of work on the pitch and is a real class act, I'm glad he is starting to get the recognition he deserves, after all the stick and critism he got when he came back from injury. I hope he does take the optional third season Wigan offered him, it's just a shame Hoff is leaving!

| Finch has played in big games and can handle pressure having him and Deacon in pivotal positions can be a deciding factor in close games

| If a player makes no mistakes, then he is not trying hard enough.
I can forgive the interception from Finch because he is trying all the tricks to unlock defence's.
He is (and always has been) a class act.

| I must admit that I wasn't so hot on Finch when he started, initially, whenever he had the ball he only looked to Hoffman for the pass. Now, he has settled in and knows the other players strengths he has started to make the Nr 7 position his own. He has been a hard worker defensively since game 1 and his recent attacking play has only made the team stronger.

Exactly.
Players in key positions who have won trophies at the highest level.
