Yep, I know what you mean, its a sure fire sign that stains are in trouble.
Wilkin isnt worth mentioning, hes a pathetic player & ultimate flat track bully.
Graham, is an outstanding player BUT has a serious attitude problem.

I have to admit that Cunningham's interview was first class and showed true sportsmanship. If all players showed this much decency the game would be all the better. I must admit I was very surprised by his tone. But credit where credit is due. He was examplary here:-

He gets bad press from other teams fans but he's a real honest down to earth guy, you can tell the respect the other teams players have for KC after the game.
He also gets called a dirty player but i also don't agree with that either, he's tough but he's never been dirty. He's had a few moments as most forwards have.
To play 17 seasons and not to get sent off shows what type of player he has been.

| There definitely seems to be an issue with certain players at Saints with regards to whingeing and moaning. They aren't the only culprits in the league though. IMO any back chatting should be a penalty or a further 10 yards if a penalty has already been given. Any further back chatting should be a simple sin bin. Only the captain of the team should be able to ask the referee questions about why the penalty/decision has been given. It's not rocket science
Isn't that what it says in the rule book ?

| Saints and Leeds are the worst for back chatting to the ref. It seems to be mostly the players who have had the most success, i hope our players dont go down that road next year.

| Quote pie eater and proud of it="pie eater and proud of it"Firstly let me say I thought it hilarious seeing Stains moaning and whining on the pitch
However, on a more serious note, we are going the way of football here. James Graham should have been sin binned for his outburst without doubt.
Later on in the game after Wilkin blatently rips the ball out of someones grasp ( I forget who sorry ), Wilkin is clearly back chatting Silverwood and can be heard shouting f-in b*ll*cks and its a joke.
Also, Wilkin stands over Sam giving him the waggy finger after =#FF00FFSam gets cleaned out by Meli and then donkey Wellens has the cheek to rush over to the ref crying about Sam faking it.
Football pushing and shoving of referees here we come.....'"
The head shot or sliding knee to the head?
Saints don't know how lucky they are as James Child would have marched 3 Stains dirtmongers off.

| I very nearly started a thread on this following the Leeds game last week. Delaney after the Goulding try, JJB and Brent Webb with sarcastic applause of the referee etc etc. Whilst I agree with St Pete that we are moaning after winning a final, but I think a serious issue needs to be addressed within the game. Referees need to be much stronger, we don’t want to end up like football with the players arguing and remonstrating with the referee at every decision.
The solution is simple, march em back 10, you used to see this a lot more in previous years, (IIRC Andy Greg got marched 40/50 yards for arguing one decision at CP) but refs for some reason now seem reluctant to do this, hence dissent is creeping into the game. By conceding 10 yards, the backchat would soon stop.

| yes Saints lost their discipline and yes at a lesser occasion then maybe there would have been a sin binning or two , but on saying that a lesser occasion wouldn't drum up as much emmotion . I for one would like to hope that if the boot was on the other foot then Wigab would have shown that much emmotion . the occasion got to a few players out there on saturday and a bit spilled over . But hey what's the point in coming on here whinging about spilled over emmotions . you should still be basking in the Glory of wigans first GF trophy for 12 years , enjoy it while you can .I for one am enjoying it still and will for a good while more yet . I don't want to sound like a Whino !

| TBH i think it forms part of a wider issue of the referees not wanting to send players off in big games, in case the ruin "the spectical".
Take Coley, sent off in Catalan, probably deserved but hardly a massive match, but also undeserved compared to say Ablett's assault on Sam, which was a red card if ever i've seen one.
Players binned and sent off for dissent in nothing games this year, but the play offs dogged by Leeds & Saints players hurling all sorts at the ref's and not even being marched the ten.
It needs to be clamped down on quickly, this isnt football.

I don't think any genuine fan could argue that KC was a great player, from speaking to a lad i know who is a wigan fan but has met KC on many occcasions he has said he is a top bloke.
I don't remember KC for being a dirty player like you said he has had a few slips of the arm like most forwards but to be fair he was hard as nails .
Great player, hope he has a great retirement and comes back to play some part in the game.
