STomkins is class, still think he should be in middle of the park not at FB, and i don't like his holding of the tackling players arm when he has the ball to milk a penalty but other than that who wouldn't have him in their squad ?

Attacking Tomkins is excellent, defending he has much to improve - his kneeing of Morris during the first try was unacceptable and deserved a serious slap. I suppose Saints got their own back by the next two tries going through him on the line

Tomkins headless chicken routine was easily dealt with last night, and the kneeing incident, plus the pathetic head butt attempt later was him simply reverting to his petulant self.



On a night when his other team mates really stepped up, and competed against a very good Aussie team, the brat was once again found wanting at this level.



The camera shot of the quivering lip at the end was worth the price of the tv licence alone!

Yet he is still twice the player Burrow and McGuire will ever be.

He's excellent defensively in the halves. He lacks the bulk to be an excellent defensive FB though.
