| Quote pie.warrior="pie.warrior"most likely name the squad on Monday 9th to capitalise on the 2014 shirt launch, that way they can sell the name and number at the same time to be put on. More fans tend to buy the name/number to be put on when they buy the shirt as opposed to a plain shirt and taking it back later when info is known'"
except as usual theres a sign on the counter saying "no shirt printing today". Why the heck dont they employ a couple of temps for a week or two after the launch and let the regular staff man the shirt printer ?
JJB stores never had this problem, no matter how big the queue

| Just think he will end up on a year long loan deal which will see his contract out at Wigan.
London Broncos anyone? Could Brett Hodgson end up there too as their captain perhaps?
Neither have been at their contracted clubs yet surely both are worth a place?
Lauaki still has another year on his Wigan contract and London, once announced, will be looking for experienced players.

| Evening guys I'm a newbie, but been a warrior since knew high to a grasshopper but first time on a Wigan chat forum.
Re: lauaki If it's right what I've been told he's hung his boots up due to personal issues, now I'll take it with a pinch of salt until anything is confirmed by the club but already stated on here he was quoted as commenting regarding depression.

Its important and good to hear that he is receiving support from the club and I hope he receives support from the fans too.
Its probably best not to judge at this time and not jump to any conclusions.

honestly i actually think he was a good player for wigan. Not fantastic but far from cack. apart from ten mins against wire the other season he usually kept his head in check.

| I'm firmly in the camp that says when he's played he's done pretty well. He's certainly not somebody you'd lose sleep over losing but I'd also be happy to keep him in the squad.
He's been a far more solid player for Wigan then he was for Hull.

| agree with the last 3 posts:
firstly : lets hope he can get his act together from a personal perspective. mental health is a genuine issue, and the more we start to accept this, the more people are able to admit problems and gain proper treatment. whether he plays for us again is immaterial. the health of the individual is more important.
secondly : hes been a decent squad player who I have never had a problem with if he was in the team. aggressive without being the penalty machine we were promised.

Absolutely agree, he should receive the help and support from all at the club, and the fans. I'm in no way jumping to conclusions bud, just merely sharing what I've been told in the gym by people apparently IN THE KNOW (tongue in cheek), I don't believe anything until it's confirmed. I hope it isn't true and we get the guy back, I along with the majority of Wigan fans wish him well.
